Viewing classic films is not just an entertainment option, it helps us understand how American culture has evolved over time, how technology has grown and even how people’s predictions of the future have actually come true, or fallen short. We can see both the civil rights and feminist movements evolve on screen, as the roles that people of color and women have evolved. This program is an opportunity for our community to re-live the past and share our memories with one another as we come together.
