Month of July – Sci Fi Classics at the Bohm Theatre

Albion, Michigan, July 5, 2016 – Each Thursday during the month of July, the Bohm Theatre will screen a classic Sci Fi film. These classics start at 10:00 AM and tickets are sold at a reduced price of just $3.

July 7 : FORBIDDEN PLANET (1956) – A starship crew goes to investigate the silence of a planet’s colony only to find two survivors and a deadly secret that one of them has.

July 14 : KING KONG (1933) – A film crew goes to a tropical island for an exotic location shoot and discovers a colossal giant gorilla who takes a shine to their female blonde star. Then he’s captured and brought back to New York City for public exhibition.

July 21 : IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE (1953) – A spaceship from another world crashes in the Arizona desert, and only an amateur stargazer and a schoolteacher suspect alien influence when the local townsfolk begin to act strange.

July 28 : THE WAR OF THE WORLDS (1953) – A small town in California is attacked by Martians.
