Celebrating French Cinema

To encourage our educational and cultural relationship with our sister cities in France (Noisy-le-Roi and Bailly), we will screen French cinema and films related to France during the month of November.

Over the past 15 years, over 600 people have crossed the Atlantic from Albion to our sister cities, from children as young as 9 to the elderly. Young people from Albion traveled to France for school and other cultural experiences, and French children came to Albion for school programs, piano competitions, basketball games, and summer camps. Exchanges of college-aged young adults have also taken place for college/university experiences and programs and summer internships. As the Albion families have acted as hosts for our visitors, we have come to know and care for each other as family, and look forward to many years of partnership.

Check back with us for our next French film honoring Sue Marcos, as we use classic and family films to continue learning about our family around the world! A big thank you to all the people who made donations to launch our French film programs.
