The Bohm Theatre, originally built to house movies and vaudeville shows, opened its doors on Christmas day 1929. An architectural landmark, the Bohm Theatre served as Albion's community movie theatre until it was closed in November 2008.

 
Now Albion has the opportunity to bring the Bohm Theatre back from disrepair and restore the original single screen and state so that it can again be the community treasure that it once was.
The Friends of the Bohm Theatre has been established to lead and support efforts to rehabilitate and preserve the historic Bohm Theatre in downtown Albion, Michigan.
