2019 Oscar Prediction Contest
CONTEST DESCRIPTION
The Bohm Theatre is once again hosting an Oscar Prediction Contest as a FUNraiser for Friends of the Bohm Theatre. Funds from the Oscar Contest will go towards helping to support operations at the Bohm during the winter weeks from mid January through February.
If you’re a film lover or you just want to support the historic Bohm and get some “inside” information on events scheduled at the Bohm for 2019, then this contest is for YOU!
There is a $25.00 fee to participate in the Bohm Theatre Oscar Contest.
The Bohm Theatre Oscar Contest (the “Contest”) is a competition in which participants compete to guess the 2018 Academy Award winners in ALL 24 categories of nominations.
PRIZES
1st Place: 2019 Bohm Theatre Movie Pass ($400+ value)
2nd Place: Bohm II Private Screening w/ Popcorn ($350 value)
3rd Place: Bohm Theatre Family Membership ($75 value_

OFFICIAL RULES
- Contestants must use the official contest ballot provided by the Bohm Theatre. The official ballot can be purchased at our concession stand for $25.00. If you would like a Bohm Ballot mailed to you, please contact us at nancy@bohmtheatre.com and we will mail you a Contest Packet for an additional $3.00 postage and handling fee.
- Contestants must provide their name and email address (phone number optional).
- Contestants may only check one (1) nominee per category.
- Any categories left blank or with multiple nominees checked will be counted as incorrect and the ballot will be disqualified.
- Bohm Membership is not required for entry or participation.
- You can purchase more than one Ballot BUT only One Prize per Household.
- Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
- Entries must be received NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2019 – prior to the airing of this years 2019 Academy Awards Ceremony scheduled for Sunday, February 24, 2019.
- Entries must be submitted in person or via snail mail to the Bohm Theatre, 201 S. Superior Street, Albion, MI
- Prizes are determined by the number of correct answers.
- Contestants will be notified of prizes won via email by March 1, 2019. Winners will be announced on our website.

ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to anyone who is at least 18 years of age at the start of the Contest on January 15, 2019.
CONTEST TIME FRAME
The Contest begins on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 and ENDS on Sunday, February 24, 2019. All ballots must be submitted by the deadline on February 23, 2019 to qualify.
ODDS
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Or just Google “Vegas Odds for 2016 Oscars”
The Friends of the Bohm Theatre is a 501c(3) charitable nonprofit as designated by the IRS. The mission of the Friends of the Bohm Theatre is to create a dynamic venue for film, performing arts, and educational activities that meet the needs of Albion, Michigan the surrounding area.
